"I bought the frameset in the states a few years ago. It's got a mix of components including a brooks saddle, MKS peddles, dirty harry brake levers, shimano brakes, and charge slice handlebars with leather tape. It's a tiny bit weather worn (a few rusty bits of hardware and some minor imperfections to the paint) but overall well taken care of."

I only used the bike a dozen times maybe before I moved flat and could no longer cycle to work, so it's in exactly the same condition as it was four years ago. It's just been serviced and is ready to ride.

The IRO Mark V HD I bought off another forum member last month.

It' my first SS and the plan is to replace everything over time bar the frame (albeit powdercoated) and maybe the saddle. I know sfa about bikes so I'm spending quite a bit of time searching the forum to find out what parts I need/want.

I moved to London a year ago and left him behind in NZ with my olds. Plan is to bring him over to London as soon as I know whether I can extend my visa or not (early next year). I miss him like crazy, as you can probably tell...

Hi ladies, another newbie here. Have been coveting a SS for a few years but, after living in London for almost a year now (I'm from New Zealand) and having a very rideable commute to work, I've finally taken the plunge and bought my first. At 5'2" I decided to go with the much recommended Mark V HD. Just bought one fully built off another forum member tonight, so looking forward to making it my own over the next six months or so.

Anyone know of any bike shops or online stores in the UK that stock the IRO Mark V HD? Irocycle.com do ship internationally but they appear to be out of stock at the moment. Tokyo Fixed Gear only have the Mark V standard on their website too.
