My little 4 year old Mowgli has just been diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), picked up during a routine check-up. It's really shocked me.
I've now got him on medication and will monitor him closely so with luck he'll be around for a few more years.
Some of you have already shared advice and support on my FB page, thank you. If anyone here has experienced this in their furbabies I'd love to hear from you too.
thanks, alex -

Hey @notoriousBMT, just wondering if you are organising these quizzes at the moment?
Or if there's still a SE London LFGSS contingent on here, it would be fun to meet up for drinks!

Looks great.
Belazu do fantastic vinegars, and oils for that matter.I love their apple vinegar in dressings - it's amazingly fruity without the sharpness of many cider vinegars. https://www.belazu.com/shop/apple-vinegar
The early harvest olive oil is also great in dressings - tastes of spring, delicious.https://www.belazu.com/shop/early-harvest-arbequina-extra-virgin-olive-oil
I get all my nuts, olives and antipasti there (the Balsamic Borettane Onions are particularly addictive) and happily they've recently broadened their domestic deliveries range so you can get almost everything the trade site sells.

This.
As ever with the forum that keeps on giving, I came to this thread expecting one thing, and have been enlightened on quite another!. @edmundro and @ColinTheBald - you need a tv show, or at least a podcast. :/
I have nothing but love for my apprentices.*

What a lovely memory @itsbruce :)
Good luck. Hopefully it'll be worth the effort and you'll be able to stop in a few weeks.
I'm struggling to get my cat Mowgli to take his daily meds for his recently diagnosed and sadly progressive heart condition. He's a fussy eater anyway and frightened and aggressive if I try to pick him up without it being on his terms (legacy from trauma as a kitten). They are small pills but too bitter to go unnoticed in wet foods and treats so I'm now trying insanely expensive liquid and chicken flavour versions.
The lengths we go to for our beloved furballs.
