Things that are good on winter bikes include;
Bar tape (cold & slippery otherwise).
Good brakes.
Mudguard(s).It's certainly a worse winter hack bike than when you found it.
Bar tape yeh I agree. The original was shot so regardless of wheter I was running bar tape or not that had to come off.
Back brake. Yeh again would be better, however I just wanted to see what it looked like without. In my opinion a lot better! I'll see how I get on with it.
Guards - never run them, never have and never will. Even if they would keep me dryer lol

I'm not sure what everyone's getting so worked up about. I don't know that much about bianchi's, but to me that looks like a cheap old one, so I don't really see much wrong with turning it into a ss/fg beater.
I wanted it ss as it's just going to be a hack bike for winter. Gears would have just been hassle and as Hugo said it's only a cheaper Bianchi. It's a sprint 28c.

Hmmmm if this is a rare frame then I guess converting to ss is wrong. However I was under the impression it was an old low end frame.
As for ss. Yeh it isn't correct, as I didn't have everything at home yesterday. I won't be putting gears on as for a commuter there just not needed.
Took a photo as it's a project so good to see stages. Also doing a photography project and this was my subject yesterday.
