I am looking for a low profile helmet for summer commuting. Does anyone have any thoughts on the Bell Hub/Giro Sutton helmets? Although the Sutton has internal ventilation ridges, it has very little vents. Suggestions for similar helmets would be great.

My mavic rim has developed cracks around all of the DS spoke holes and a replacement rim/ wheelset is needed.
I am willing to buy any road wheelset that has a hard anodized finish and a cassette rear hub (sealed bearing or just newer model shimano hubs would be wonderful).

OR I would be willing to buy a CD mavic 192 32h rim/ wheel, should it have a shimano cassette hub (or any hub, preferrably one that could be easily discarded).

Yeah, I will run 35c tyres.

Here's the fork with the front wheel (700c) and a continental xking 2.2 tyre. Not inflated as all tubes that I have are for <28c.. Loads of clearance, especially considering that this tyre is noticeably bigger than what I plan on using.

My previous comment may have been misleading -wheels will be 700c, the wheel size that the fork was designed to be used on is 26", but having in mind that the axle to crown measurement is even bigger than for example enve cx forks it won't be a problem. I will take a photo of it with a 700c wheel installed.

I couldn't squeese it into the 120mm dropouts,which I don't need to do when a spacer is removed on a road hub.

It was £40'ish, but it took yonks for it to get to me..

But it was cheaper to pay in USD than in GBP, actually the difference was around 5gbp.

NOTE: It's 'intended' to be used with 26" wheels, but the axle to crown length is actually a tad more than all cyclocross forks, I have seen people ride it with a 29er 2.2 tyre..

I bought this frame off WilliamJohn in early march. As I didn't like how it looked then- after acquiring some rattlecans with some leftover paint I painted it.

It will be a sscx build with a cheap-ass chinese mosso m3 fork

I decided to use an OS cockpit for this build as I found a cheap giant connect handlebar and stem combo..

That's it for now, a disc front wheel arrived on friday, the rear wheel will be a rigida dp18 with an old shimano 600 cassette hub..

Still trying to decide whether to drill or not to drill the seatstay bridge..

I made a group order since the shipping is cheaper to Lithuania this way, and one of the frames arrived with a scratched and bent headtube, what would you suggest to do? Sending the frame back would probably cost as much as the frame is worth itself..
