I'm thinking of going to New York for a few days in June and I really want to take my bike and cycle down to Coney Island and just around the city.

I don't know anyone in NY so I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of any decent places to stay that are kinda bike friendly or at least have a secure place to leave bikes over night.

Also, if anyone fancies joining me, I'm thinking mid June for 4 or 5 days

Leader 725 frame + Leader Carbon Forks, I will also leave on the BB(six month old) as well as the seat tube. either 54-55cm £260

Steel road frame - £180 complete (no pedals but has a seat)
BLB crank set is 8months old - I haven't used this bike for 6 months as it's too big for me - either 56 or 57cm?

BSA Javelin - Bought this for a project but it has been laying around and taking up space for a month now so gotta go - good summer project, classic frame, original parts - £50

Chrome Citizen Messenger bag - less than a year old, needs a bit of a clean but it's in great condition

I feel like the biggest threat in central London are pedestrians...taxis too but people just walk on the road without looking and everyone is always in a rush.
