Need some help / advice pls..
Just bought a De Rosa Professional frame / forks on a bit of a impulse.. My thinking was to build it up as a SS with some Marvic Ksyrium Elite S wheels I have. They're not exactly in keeping with the frame but should be ok after i de-sticker them. They have a Shimano freehub on them so I'm guessing a spacer kit would work ok?
I was thinking 1/8 chain and 70-75 gear inches
Most of the below I've found on velosolo.
Andel (S*rly) Cro-Mo Singlespeed Cog - 17t
VeloSolo Singlespeed Cassette Hub Spacer Kit Anodized - Black
Miche Steel 12t LockringFSA Gimondi Track and Singlespeed Chainset - silver - 170mm/ 46T (will this fit the Italian BB?)
MKS Sylvan Road Pedals
Kalloy 27.2mm Seatpost
Saddle - not sure
1" threaded Headset ?
Quill stem (silver)
Nitto Noodle Aluminium Alloy Drop Handlebar
Tektro Aero R200A/RL340 Drop Bar Brake Levers - black hoods.Brakes I'm confused about.. I'd like to get some modern calipers on there (maybe Campag Veloce 10), but don't really want to do any drilling? brake drop?
Does this sound alright, or have I got it totally wrong !?
Another option would be a period Campag groupset, but really I fancy a simple SS build atm.Cheers

Hey,
I fancy building up a light bike for commuting duties and maybe some track sessions. Heard great things about Dolan's in general, but its the Seta that I'm after. I will want front and rear brakes on it whilst on the road. Believe they can be drilled for rear brakes (?)
I'm 6'2", so at a guess I'll need the 58cm frame. Not too worried about colour so long as its not all black.
Let me know if you're selling. I'm in London

To the OP, hope you don't mind me jumping on here.. don't think I can PM yet, do you need a certain number of posts?
Anyway cheers Mike, yeah I might as well sell mine as I never use it. Its a dark grey Charge Plug, Only been out a few times since last serviced. Its in good nick, no big scratches or anything that I remember. Its got Armadillos on it, but I'll throw in the original (unused) Kenda tyres as I'll never use them. I believe its a large. I'm 6'2" and it fits me fine. I'm in SE London if you want to see it. Looking for £200 I guess.
yeah.. I'm being talking into a Campag Athena 11 build. could be the way to go.
