Hey,
Looking for a decent, simple and in good (rideable without issues and serviced) condition bicycle for a 5'9 (1.8 m) lady rider. Budget is not an issue, but looking not more above 300 GBP tops. Nothing complex, 3-speed Sachs or Shimano internal rear would be great! Frame type is preferably something like mixte or any other not really heavy ladies frame. Should be with 28" wheels, eyelets for mudguards and racks, slightly higher or adjustable stem for upright casual riding position.
The bike should be simple, yet reliable, that means tyres, braking surface, brake pads, bearings etc. must be in good condition.Test ride and pick-up from London area and around.
Waiting for offers - PM!
Thanks :) -

Yes, both. Track one is finished and is ridden quite a lot (on tubs), and the TT one needs cable routing for test drive and a new thread in CP section (this one took some time, because all I had was the frame).

'Later' has come and passed, and I am still struggling to make 'one for all' bike.
I picked the SL-tubed Nico frame, mentioned above, but there were few problems about it:- bent fork: solved - I bought a 'new' one, very similar, and the steerer was used for enlarging a 650c TT fork for another bike.
- chrome rust: solved - almost without any intentions I just sprayed wd40 on the rear triangle and then sanded with very thin paper - 95 percent of rust appeared to be only superficial and the rear triangle is shiny again.
- stuck seatpost: solved (phew..), but took some time and effort. Stuck 18 cm below insertion hole, it was literally a pain in the ass. Basically all you can do is saw it out with thin metal blade. Takes ages, but works.
- Shamal 12HPW rim 36 hole conversion: in progress. I had a battered 12-hole Shamal clincher rim and decided to pair it with Russian XB3 track hub. I drilled 24 additional holes in it to make it a 36-hole rim. That's easy, but when lacing the rim, the nipples that are already connected with spokes get stuck on the mid section of the rim, so every next spoke gets harder to install. I still got 9 spokes to put in.
The plans for now is to make a FG beater. We'll see what turns out

I have almost full Golden Arrow groupset in amazing condition that I am willing to sell.
All parts in remarkably good condition - brake levers and cranks almost have no scratches, derailleurs and calipers look like new, BB cups don't seem to have any wear signs and are really shiny, plus there are dustcaps for cranks and all four brake pads with all bits. Brake hoods are still soft and without any tears worth mentioning.Above all that, all parts have been cleaned, rear derailleur, BB, brakes were fully reassembled, cleaned and regreased.
Also, matching 105 hubs are included (36h), which are also in perfect condition (no photos yet). I will also give chain (measured, almost no wear). Sadly, no matching headset or pedals, but these are no problem to get I hope (I got newer 105 'triangle' pedals without toe clips and old platform AFA pedals with metal toe clips and Cristophe straps which I can include if needed. Sorry, no headset though).
I was keeping it and waiting for a nice frame to put all this, but I more prefer ergos and 9 speed, so this has to go, as it was in a box for long time now and deserves to be put on an equally nice frame of yours :)
Take a chance and refresh your old steelie with shiny Golden Arrow, all clean and ready to be installed!So the kit includes:
- FC-S125 Crankset (170mm) with 52/42 stock chainrings, crank bolts and dustcaps, teeth in perfect condition, chainring bolts like new etc etc;
- Bottom bracket, English threaded, cups in virtually new condition and the chrome outside is shining, bearings and axle very little worn;
- RD-A105 and FD-A105 rear and front derailleurs; both cleaned, rear derailleur was fully reassembled, both pivots and pulleys cleaned, pivot bolts and springs regreased; front mech cage looks like new, clamp-on type, rear has very little signs of use;
- Cassette (see photos for the condition of cogs);
- Chain (no pic);
- 105 hubs, front and rear, 36 holes, cleaned and regreased, spins smoothly, bearings in equally good condtion (picture yet to be uploaded);
- Braze-on SL-A105 downtube shifters. Works and looks good;
- BR-S105 brake calipers, both have been reassembled and cleaned, comes with four original brake pads, still plenty of life left;
-BL-H105 brake levers, the hoods are still soft, the levers show little sign of use.
Yours for 165 pounds (packaging, postage to UK and EU and PayPal fees included).

Only 7 screws! You are lucky! I hope you get the plate removed, and so I wish.
I got 9 screwed in weird angles and quite a long plate.
Stupid as I am, I did not go for a rehab, but exercise on my own (very bad thing) - shoulder is a bit numb and I hate if someone touches it by accident, but I also did not have problems with weight lifting, exercising and overall arm mobility.
I can predict oncoming weather from the feel of the arm, too! :)
Hi all! Looking for a rather simple and cheap large-sized commuter bike for 195 cm, nothing fancy. Preferably geared (internal 3 or 7), external 7-9 speed, single front chainring is a benefit. Wheel size 28", Tyres from 28 mm to 42-45mm. Can be something of your own breed that you don't ride anymore. No FG, but single speed offers are welcome. Price depends on condition (mainly rim, tyre, brake pad and chain wear) but looking at around 100-200£. Located around New Hampstead. Feel free to post a pic with a bit of info and phome nr. here or PM. Thanks!
