Schwalbe Pro One is purely for speed and only speed, if you're planning for short distances and one race these will be your ultimate performance tyre as they will be ruined afterward due to amount of cuts form the soft compound.

Urban tyres is the fine balance of speed and puncture protection if that's your requirement for endurance race.

Really depends on you race car you are planning to build and for what purpose.

It's not really a true carbon, only the outer skin which I guess they wanted to make sure it was robust for the long term use.

Unfortunately not, the ones out of the factory is matt instead of polished.

He got it polished at UK Metal Polishers LTD.

If you're planning to use the bike often or lower your seatpost when folding then we wouldn't recommend this (speaking from experience) it does save amazing weight but titanium would be the route to go,

You’re more than welcome to try out mine for a week (obviously we will swap the seatpost over) if you want to get a feeling if you can ride that ratio with a 54T.

For what’s it’s worth the 2 speed in flat London is perfect, and even around the outskirts as it’s very doable (even dad-bods can do it).

Granted as everyone as the 2 speed is external and in very horrible conditions the derailleur does stop working to do crap on the roads. But a little wash after the ride it will be good as new.

With a 2 speed I would recommend to up the 50T chainring to 54T, you’ll appreciate this when your on the flat and not spinning out.

Biggest sensible cost saving weight saying if you want to go down that route would be saddle, seatpost, pedals and tyres. I wouldn’t bother with cranks as stock is pretty decent unless you want shorter cranks.

You’ll defiantly notice the difference once you change these parts and it does make it a little rocket ship at the lights.

Currently selling my 695 aerolight and looking at this, somehow the Campy does work but I also know you buy Campy with your heart and not with your head....
