@Timmy2wheels and @chrisbmx116 - many thanks for the feedback. Genuinely appreciated.
As we will be on the other side of the planet, we are resigned to having to use a managing agent. Collection of rent, management of taxes and the mundane issues that may arise are better handled without a twelve hour time difference.
The agents that we are speaking to at the moment seem to want T's crossed and i's dotted so unlikely that they would take on our flat without the lender giving explicit agreement.
The mortgage guy is a friend and has been pretty good with free advice to date so will part with the cash in this instance. Also, the clock is ticking as we are looking to be out by Christmas.
This move is, however, presenting new costs every day. Sigh.

Wondering if I may be able to solicit a bit of advice here....
I am moving to New Zealand in the new year with the family - we own a small flat in South London. We don't want to sell up for a variety of reasons and as a result are looking to rent the property in our absence.
Our current mortgage provider is being slightly difficult with regard to giving "Permission to Let" - they haven't refused, but are being awkward. I have started a conversation with an independent mortgage adviser and whilst I trust him personally, he is looking for an up-front fee for advice - only +/- £200 but it is the principle that I am concerned with.
Is this normal????

We got lucky with a very good sparks that replaced our bathroom extractor fan and has since done a few other jobs around the place for us. Top guy and Brixton based.

Exciting times in Loughborough Junction - proposals in place for major development and infrastructure improvements which may make the area a little more user friendly for cyclists and pedestrians.

I think he meant he'd switched it off and on again, like that's a valid IT solution.
Switch off and on is about the best my IT department come up with usually.
Anyway, back to the problem at hand - I have hard reset the phone. That is, I have done a full wipe and reset.
The soft keys still do not work. However, since the reset landscape soft keys are working which they weren't before.

Yep.
Tried reset, safe mode and per the latest comment on that link (I have posted on there too!) tried the developer mode.
My touches in developer mode seem to be registering a touch on or about the soft icons. However, I am still able to open Google Now holding down the home button and dragging up. I dont think this is a hardware issue.

All three soft keys have packed up on my Nexus 4. It's a bloody pain as I have to switch the phone off to change apps at the moment. Doesn't appear to be hardware related as the middle "home" button if held still takes me to Google Now.
Anybody else come across this and/or got a solution that doesn't involve buying a new phone?

Looking through that list makes you realise how few places I have actually been to. Anyway, I get 10:
Bolton
Preston
Rotherham
Walsall
Tottenham
Upton Park
Man Utd
Charlton
West Brom
EvertonOf that lot - Upton Park is hallowed ground. Everton is quality as an away supporter. Special mention to West Brom - had some quality days there too.

This morning at the northbound junction of Borough High St and Southwark St, police were in force telling cyclists to hold back as the dustbin truck at the front was going to be turning left into Southwark St (its a no left there...). I think they wanted to chat with the driver.
Whilst I had no intention of filtering along the narrow gap to the left of the truck, I was somewhat staggered that once the policeman and his colleagues had conferred and decided that the truck wouldn't be turning left, that he declared to group that all was okay and we should indeed line up along the tight gap on the left of the truck. A number of them were happy to do so.

Nothing wrong with Yamaha kit. I had a set of Yamaha speakers for a number of years that I had no complaints about.
However, its always worth looking around the likes of Richer Sounds or even ebay for deals - particularly on amps. Richer Sounds tend to do a decent deal on Cambridge Audio and if you can get a "manager's special" on one then even better.
Out of interest, what are you using as a source - CD, MP3, Vinyl?

Anybody tried the Brixton Brewery offerings yet?
I walked past their set up on Brixton Station Road last Saturday and they seem to be open and selling direct every Saturday. Seems to be a bit like Kernel - you can stand around a have a bottle there or buy to take away.
Didn't have time to sample anything last week but will have a go this weekend.
Read about a new forge in Peckham making knives called Blenheim Forge. Their stuff is very nice - picked this up from there out of their cheaper offerings. However the Damascus steel stuff is beautiful but sadly out of my price range.
