My bike was stolen the other day. I've had it for many years, so it's a big loss. A very helpful guy in a bike shop told me about this site. As soon as I get beyond the nursery stage, I'd like to post a photo of my bike so that if anyone has seen it they could let me know? I didn't think it was valuable to anyone but me.

What a wonderful idea is bikeshd. My bike was stolen on Monday 4 April 2011 at 4:36pm. I am still in shock. It's nice to know so many cyclist try to help each other.

My bike was stolen in Crouch End last Monday 4 April. It's such a shock. I didn't think it was of any value to anyone but me. It's over 30 years old. I don't think anyone would try to sell it, but then, I didn't think anyone would steal it either. Have you seen it? It may just be lying around somewhere. Please help if you can. Missing it terribly.
