Am glad you guys enjoyed the CDR lecture. Worked my way through the RBMA talks so it's nice to find similar stuff on a different platform.
Here's something i dont think I posted - my pal Joss use to DJ in LDN back in late 90's early 00's. I wasnt old enough at the time like dangeek mentions but I often wish I could timewarp you know - I think British nightlife culture is one of the most exciting in the world and v sad to see what's currently going on.

Enjoyed watching this >>> CDR BERLIN: INTERVIEW WITH DEGO (4Hero/2000Black)

Ahh amazing ty - only one i've seemed to watch on that list is the Bukem one. A friend just sent me this .
Not Jungle per se, but here's a nice hybrid number to top it off - Forest Drive West put a release on R&S recently and I seriously rate it. Badass show on NTS recently too w/ Raji Rags;

Nothing overly detailed as alot of the content in this thread, but here's a little radio thing I did w/ a friend who use to do the London rounds back in the day. Some of what she says might be relevant to some of you.
I'm fascinated w/ British electronic music in general and in this we chat a bit about the 97-02 era. Part 2 was recorded this week just gone so will share that shortly also.

Fuck yeah that is great @J0nathan. I feel like all of the UKG realm is kinda meshing together these days. I actually want to write an article and title it "death of subculture" lol.

hahaha
ahh man unfortunately I wasn't aware of the stuff happening around london until 2010 and by that point things weren't really the same and all my friends were indie kids. Remember seeing Magnetic Man at Reading Fest one year and whilst I loved the excitement, I could tell it was just a bit too flashy. Went back to my car absolutely shit faced to listen to Hatcha, Skream Benga etc on Kiss FM lol.
Would give an arm to experience one of them nights at Plastic People.

Great thread. V much into this style of music in recent years. Came across artists and labels like Livity Sound, Whities, Pangaea Hackney Parot etc etc before I even realised hardcore/rave fed into jungle back in the day - nice to piece that part of the puzzle together tho.
Here's a thing i did for Rinse France a few months back you might like;
