I've a v basic cable question. Community Fibre now in my street and I left Virgin Media 5 months ago. I want to re-use the existing drilled hole in my wall for new cable, but would need to remove the Virgin ones beforehand. When I spoke to CF rep, they said they wouldn't dismantle another provider's cables when installing theirs - that I'd have to do it myself.
So, there's two cables; a thick fibre optic one that I can disconnect/unscrew easily enough and a thin cable, presumably the old decommissioned phone line? I can take my cable cutters to that without getting zapped, right? -

Several sets of each kit available. 8 each I think, plus a box of random bits.
People do buy these for real money on ebay. If you're on here, have an interesting use for them, they're yours, for whatever you think they're worth (and I'll send that cash straight off to disaster emergency committee).
Located in Borehamwood, or can meet in town for a handover. Perhaps they are a bit heavy to make postage worthwhile. Thanks, -

Before I throw these out, is anyone interested in some free utility cycling reading. Issues-5 to 52 (missing 13, 14, 39). From years 2002-2016, so mercifully free of recent cycling trends.
Included are earnest discussions of front/all wheel drive systems, 'bents aplenty and options for transporting your kayak. Can deliver North/Central. Not worth posting.Oh, and a ripped issue-2 of Road Rocket? I'd like to say I bought it for the Benelli feature but in truth, it was the MZ that turned my head.

Brief report to while away waiting for an op. Three weeks ago, Borehamwood, small roundabout, drain grate maybe black ice, front wheel gone, distal radius (longitudinal) fracture and rearranged dentistry. Fracture clinic unhappy about how repair positioned, so plate and screw today. Crash was a fine advert for Uniqlo slim chinos (not my normal choice of kit). Unmarked once washed the knee-goo from them.
