Currently in Teofilo Otoni heading east. Yesterday we found a car freshly upside down off the mountainside before the emergency services could attend. Today we were 1.5 hours ahead of the horror bus crash that's on the guardian. Sobering.

I'm in east London.

Just back from a little tour in Turkey.

We set out with a plan to ride 5 days from Istanbul, Riding South-East around Sea of Marmara, to catch a boat from Bandirma. Sadly, I got pretty sick on day 1 of riding and had to spend 24 hours in a shabby hotel in the middle of nowhere, which threw off the schedule. 3 days of riding and 150km later we made it back to Istanbul.

@lynx that's the fork oil weight that's supplied with the kit when ordering most classic Honda parts distributers, so I'm guessing it is correct.

@Jung the suspension is soft, but I'm guessing it always is on these old CBs. The bike has covered only 14k miles, so hoping that the aren't worn out.

My fork seals are leaking and the front end feels a little lower than before.

Planning just to order a kit that comes with seals and Motul Expert 10W Fork Oil. Should I consider anything else before I buy this?

Flexible of sizing too but it should fit someone that's 5'2" essentially an XS frame.

Would love a tiny steel roadbike, but I understand that they're rare.

I have been looking for an early full fairing sportbike for a while now. Something that's Ulez and MOT exempt, and I had convinced myself the full fairing bikes didn't really arrive until the late 80s.

But I've just discovered the VF1000R from around 84.

It's making me wonder, what else is out there that I've missed?

So the seatpost is indeed stuck. I should have read the ad more carefully.

This can be collected for free if someone wants a project. I recently lost a battle with a seized seatpost and it's not something I can be arsed to tackle again.

I rode from Biarritz to Barcelona over the Pyrenees last year and it was wonderful. Would recommend.
