SOLD SOLD SOLD
De Rosa Casanova - lugged Columbus Brain OS tubing.
Non-original fork - steel.
I built it up with a 10 speed groupset mostly Veloce, some centaur, some Chorus.
Chorus carbon fibre seatpost,
Mavic Aksium wheels with Conti GP4000 tyres.
It is a little tatty, with scuffs to the decals and to some of the paintwork, but it is sound and rides beautifully.I am selling this De Rosa, as I found a Corum in my size two months after buying this frame.
Looking for £450 posted

De Rosa - selling a De Rosa Casanova, lugged steel frame (dating from the mid-late 1990's, I think) built of Columbus Brain OS (Over Size). De Rosa drop outs. Braze-on front mech hanger, through top tube cabling.
Dimensions - 57.5cm top tube, 17cm head tube, 60 cm CT seat tube.No fork. I can throw in a non-original straight bladed steel fork (non-threaded, ahead steerer), with enough space for about 10mm spacers beneath the stem, or a threaded Columbus fork (almost NOS) from a Bottecchia, painted red.
I will also include a fitted ahead headset that has seen better days and a fitted campag bottom bracket. Both these may need replacing/ servicing sooner rather than later.See thread here, for pics-

Hi,
I built this up with a 10 speed groupset and 700c wheels. The clearances with modern (10 speed group) brakes were fine. Not sure if it would take 27'' wheels. I dont have any to test, but can measure the clearance.
There are no mudguard eyes. You'd be fine with 'Race blade' type guards, but I think it would be quite tight with more traditional,'full' mudguards.
Best,
David

I have a powder-coated Pinarello, with a 58cm top tube, 19.2 cm headtube, 62ctt seat tube.
Columbus steel (SL, I Believe, looking at old catalogues, it looks like a 'Treviso'). 130 mm rear spacing.Campag dropouts on the frame, non-original forks (Columbus, with Columbus drop-outs), including head set and Campag bottom bracket. Cable routing through top tube. Bought via LFGSS as a stripped frame. Only ridden once since powder-coated, (red with white panels) and has been sitting in my garage for the past three years, as it is a little too tall for me.
PM me if you want some pics and any more details. £125 plus postage.
David
