Need to replace the ancient, pitted FSA Orbit on my Mk1 Pomp. Any recommendations? I believe it needs to be an external 1 1/8 on these frames.

On mine, there's a threaded hole directly underneath the wishbone mount. I just flexed/bent the (SKS) mudguard mounting plate back on itself and screwed it in. Works a treat.

I've searched for this but, as much as there're many pages of discussion given to this frameset and varying geometry, I can't actually see anywhere where the actual differences between versions in the Pomp range over the years are laid out. In other words, how do you know which version you have just by looking at it?

How much lateral movement would be available from the dropouts (should a fg/ss conversion be carried out)?
I notice there are bosses for mudguards on the forks - possibly the rear as well? What eidth tyres are you using in the pics?
