My tyre problem returned yesterday. I take the AA Special out for a weekly 40 km sprint on a quiet country road. I've had Schwalbe Milano tubulars on the Mavic Monthlery Pro rims since January. Puncture!!
So, Gazelle lovers, what do I do? The wheels were trued and the hubs repacked. They are terrific.
New rims? HTFU and learn to repair tubulars? Any magic solutions?

This is one of the factory resprays nated by Guru Dutch Cheese.
The serial number on the BB tube says it's 1983/4, but the colour and decals say 1990. The forks are non panto, as in the 1984 catalogue.
Some original Campag components; front derailleur, brake levers and pedals, were replaced with Shimano 600. They are gone now. The original Mavic Monthlery tubulars have stayed, despite getting a puncture on the first outing . The shifters are Gazelle pantos.I'll post better pics when I can.
It rides beautifully, wants to stay in a straight line until told otherwise.

Earlier in this topic an image of a Gazelle AA Super was shown.

Last year I purchased an AA Special with identical colour and markings. Its serial number dates it to 1984, so it appears to be a Gazelle factory respray.
My question is, should I have pantographed forks?
Here's another one!

As I have decided that this month is 'don't buy in July', it's a good thing that it's too small for me. I doubt that my resolution would stand up to such a stunner.
