Sheldons AW to 2-sp fixed works, but has ~80 degrees of backlash due to the play between clutch arms and the pins on the planet cage. Much better is to convert S-A 5-speed (the old S5, not the new SunRace ones) to 3-sp fixed (same Sheldon method). The planet cage has machined recesses/stops that the clutch arms fit into snugly, with only a few degrees of play.
