Yup me too. Tried a Kalloy ritchie, too big. I'm tempted by Hilary's campags but trying to find cheaper just in case it won't fit again. I thought it might be my calipers but I've tried two different types so def 26.6
I'm considering shimming the post collar slightly to give me more choice. I've got a deburring tool if you need to borrow. -
Are there ANY sexy 26.6 seatposts to be had? Eh?
For a 1960's Claud Butler Tourer grouped with Shimano 600 Arabesque but I've only got a dirty old Strong post with slanting rails on it which just looks wrong.
Is there a nice, curvy, shiny steel or ali post anywhere? I've looked in all the usual places; Hilary's got a Campy Athena and Chorus but 35 squid!
Anybody? -

Lol @Tenderloin, the irony
I've tried, even with grease can't get it in... like trying to get a marshmallow into a piggy bank.Cheers Alma, ill try with some other pedals and see what happens.

Dear Forumengers,
Some advice please:My MSK Sylvan pedals don't screw easily into the used 170mm Shimano 600 cranks that I've just bought. I've managed to get them in a couple of turns is all.
I haven't measured the threads, I'd presumed that they would be the same, but I'm worried now in case I've forced and stripped the beginning of the thread.
Any thoughts? I'd be very grateful.

Brooks B33, San Marco Race Gel
Both in excellent condition, as new.Bought the Brooks B33 from Dannika a few weeks back for £50. San Marco was recently bought from Smelfords; tried once on my tourer but have gone back to my old saddle for now.
Brooks has a tiny bit of rustdust from storage on the clamp under the saddle, but really nothing to worry about. No marks or scratches on either.Pick up from East Dulwich or could poss meet central after work.
Brooks - £42
San Marco - £17
Haven't checked postage costs yet but would think £3-4 on top. -
