I'm signed up for the Dartmoor classic as well. It gets very busy, so expect queues, some of those roads are narrow and winding so passing is very tricky

The advise I always give is to lock your bike with the cheapest lock that your insurance company will allow you to have in order to receive a payout. A thief will take your bike if they really want to, so it's more about getting the insurance than anything.
