Hi Constable, I've used the 'more modern' post bike to commute (10 mile round trip) and then used the bike for real on the rounds - they fly, really! Just got myself an old rod-pull with rack (I'm recycling a rack and basket from the skip at the local Depot) so get in touch.. Chooch. (Is that my 3rd post yet?)

Re. Racks and Baskets - They're throwing these out at some RM Depots that have Bike Mainenance W/Shops.. I'm trying to pick up one myself (I'm outside of the M25 so I doubt if I'll be through for the 'jumble-sale' Sunday - PM me, I might stick it lucky :)) ..but why not see if your own local Delivery Office has a Bike Maintenance W/Shop?. (the 'old ' RM bikes with the racks were/are 'nice' but impractical comparitively..)

Just got a Mans RM bike of this vintage and my 14yr old has fallen for it.. So I guess ugliness is in the eye of the beholder - mccarthy, see if you can retrieve the 'original' pics from overandout.. that sold me on the idea :)

Does it have the basket on the front?
