Has anyone else found the lowest position of the bontragers to be quite short and without a nice flat section? At least my smallish hands just dont seem to fit in there, leaving a gap in the middle of the palm and thus leading to uneven pressure. An extra bulge of handlebar tape in the right spot might help but...

My ebay hunting for the perfect stem is getting out of hand so I thought i'd try here too. Looking for a nice quality stem, my steerer is 1" carbon so shimming to 1&1/8" is Ok but 1-bolt tightening mechanism is not (which is sad because i love ringle zookas). Handlebar is also carbon so 2- or 4-bolt clamp there too. OH and no more than 6-degree rise please.
I'm very tempted to use a onebolt clamping (at least for handlebar) even on the carbon because of retro looks and even sent Syntace a question about it but i doubt they'll be very approving if/when they answer.
If someone is specialist in this carbon clamping forces business you can also give your opinion. The bar is Syntace Duraflite so its titanium meshed on the clamp area and DH-approved so it COULD be OK...
Ou and I live in Finland so postage is a must. Willling to pay good price for nice things
thank you for your time

I'm guessing 700c/29er in a path racer frame that was meant to have large clearances with 27" wheels.
It is not mine but it runs 700c
rims are sun ringle mtx-33 29er and tires 700x35c racing ralph
would really like to know about the original use of the frame! path racer is very likely. or maybe they just made track training frames with the same mold as touring&basic frames

im feeling like giving this up again... so if anybody is interested drop a PM. looking for a size 54-56 track frame. can consider pretty much anything from vintage steel to carbon. except mass produced cheapo frames
also whole bikes considered.
oh yeah and the paint has suffered quite a bit from daily abuse, so you will get ++++ street cred

In Finland we have this thing called skeneketju, referring to the KMC z510 HX. Tried and tested. Price is around £15. Only downside is that its so extra wide that it wont fit a mini park tool chain brute tool...
Also used NJS track chains are mostly good deals, they are mostly in like new condition. I wonnder why the Izumi is twice the price to Daido and HKK at NJS-export?
For riding purposes i cannot understand getting a £70 chain
