This sounds typical. Poor response, issues with most orders, busy staff seemingly not giving a sh1t.
Next thing you know the Rapha brand/buying experience/service reputation will be permanently tarnished and the company will start a gradual nose dive.Already has IMO. Same experience for others that I have spoken to.

Is it just my repeated bad luck or is Rapha's quality control and customer service absolutely shocking these days?
90% of our orders over the last couple of years have been either defective (frequently) or incorrectly sized (sometimes) with actual measurements not matching the size ordered (have been buying stuff for 9 years, so have a fix on the vagaries of ordering the right size, depending on the product)
Emails require chasing up to get a reply. Refunds need chivvying along.
Most recent order both items were faulty (GT Shoes and Jersey) Still waiting a reply. Back in the day service was much better, although even then we had to endure some "Rapha staff attitude" on more than one occasion. Other times service has been exemplary. These days it seems to be a complete bagosh1te.
As much as we like some of the products, we no longer recommend to friends and order far less kit as a result.
Repeated bad luck or is this the norm? -

Essentials Case has gone up too. Was just about to buy one but will give it a miss along with the other nicknacks I was gonna buy.
Big mistake on their part I think. Lower margins/sensible prices on the more affordable products will entice new members to the parish, who in turn will spend more money over the long term and recommend others.
Chasing profits on these items is a great way to shoot yourself in the foot. -

Wonder if they will do another version of the Tweed Softshell.
Mate has the one with elbow patches and the quality/material/design is lush [as Welsh slappers are wont to say]
Can't persuade him to sell it for any amount of money.Shoulda bought one when they were available...
One garment I would like to see re-released is the black Stowaway/ Wind jacket. -

Could stretch to £125 for the Black 14L Hauser+Tool Roll, which is a chunk more than they fetch on eBay.
Assuming it's the updated version with internal back support.
Drop me a message if you'd like to pass it on to a good home.
Cheers.
