I use old tent guy lines. There seems to be a proliferation of abandoned tents in the nether regions of town. They rarely get guyed down and the cord is often still rolled up. They’re often in bright colours as a bonus.

I’m solely blaming the previous administration for bringing the law in, but the new one has acted to head off an overcrowding in prisons crisis without tackling the input. I hope this case will spur them to stop this fascist nonsense as the obvious next step.

The new government hasn’t acted to limit the powers of the courts to lock up climate protesters but has acknowledged there’s a prisons overcrowding problem. This is outrageous :

Can anyone tell me how to edit the title of a post? I posted just now in rider down and spelled the rider’s name incorrectly.

I’ve just heard about this. Rufus “Red” was the son of friends of mine and an incredible cyclist. He was a keen audax rider and cycle tourist who embarked on some incredible rides.
He completed a Randonneur around the year award ( a 200k in every month of the year) last year at the age of 12. That was not the most impressive of his cycling exploits, his list of achievements is incredible for such a young man.
