2nd Price drop
This beautiful 1984 Amstel red & silver Champion Mondial had a full professional respray done by Gazelle's paint partner BCP. Brady van Dalen did this to celebrate the birth of his son Jason in 1994 (hence the scripture on the top tube), who's now a professional cyclist. I bought it off of BCP a while ago.
It's completely rebuilt with a complete Campy Nuovo Gran Sport group set, including (tube) wheels and seat post.
58 cm center top.
• Campy Nuovo Gran Sport group set (new brake hoods)
• Fujita Seamless leather saddleShipping from the Netherlands possible. Shipping & PayPal fees not included.
Asking GBP 750 ex shipping / PP fees.

For sale, one of the all time classic road bike saddles, The Brooks Professional. NOS = New Old Stock, unused from 1980, in the original (show) box and still in factory grease. It's never been on a bike. It comes with the (also unused) Brooks "Proofide" leather treatment and Allen key for saddle adjustment.
This model is the rare "Professional Select", meaning thicker leather, large copper rivets, hammered and filed, and with 3 central holes.
I'm looking for 140GBP for this unused rarity ONO.
UK shipping quote is an estimated at ~17 - 25 Euro.Pictures right here.

Nice old thread! I myself am a Marktplaats buyer and seller and love the place. The truth is, more and more of the bikes you see advertised here come originally from Marktplaats. Sometimes even from me. I'm fine with that, let them make a nice profit and deal with the shipping etc, which is my main reason for keeping it to the Dutch market..

For sale: a rare red/silver fade Gazelle Triathlon Trophy from 1988.
This bike has a specific triathlon geometry with the bent top tube so to be as compact as possible. It has brazed on shifter and pump cams as well as a double fitting for a drinking bottle (one on down tube, one on seat tube).
The bike is in good but used condition. The paint is overall in good nick, but there are some scratches and chips here and there. It rides beautifully.
Parts:
- Shimano 105: front and rear mech (2x6 speed, hubs, crankset + chainwheels, brake levers, shifters, brake calipers
- Shimano Dura Ace Dyna Drive (aero) pedals w/ toe clips (chrome is bad)
- Gazelle panto'd stem with red tape
- Graphite rims with good Vittorio Zaffiro tires (clinchers)
- Nice (and typically 1980s) Turbo Gel saddle with some scratches
All parts are ok and work brilliantly.
Feel free to ask for more information or photos of this rare bike. Please DM and dibs when interested.

Amazing story, this. I came across this Gazelle via a former Gazelle dealer (mr. De Nijs, 3rd photo) who had just retired. He'd had this cycle in his shop for over 30 years and moved it around until it ended up hanging on his storage space's ceiling. The only (insignificant) marks it has are from its life in the shop, where the brake hoods unfortunately deteriorated over time along with a couple of small marks of time.
Although it's "only" an A-Frame it's fully outfitted with Campagnolo Record. They beautiful mother-of-pearl and burgundy two tone paintwork is nearly immaculate, with just the above mentioned insignificant shop marks. The photos tell the same story. Its size is 56.5 c-t.
I added this bike to my collection a while ago but I'm trying to make space for some new ones. That's why this one has to go.
UP FOR SALE AGAIN / Price drop: £675 posted. The intended buyer cancelled the deal so this beauty is up for sale again!

It's true that there isn't much to be found online about the Sprinter Race. That's partly because it was positioned at the bottom end of Gazelle's race/touring range and therefore not so much a collector's item as the CM (and, to a lesser extent, the Tour de l'Avenir and Tour de France etc.). There's loads of them on Dutch auction sites, mostly for very low prices (mostly between €40 and €80). There's nothing special about their equipment but, of course, the paint work was good (sadly most of them came in dull gold/brown like this one). Still, though, I think these bikes are nice items, especially if they're 'near mint' of course...
