I wanted to try and make a small living while at uni, but halls first year and house for next year has no space either. But those rent-a-bench type places exist in some counties maybe there is one in york. all i need is a bench really. The profit - time ratio is not very good tho lol, esp as im new to it. top builders can turn out a few frames a week. But as its fun it might be nice for beer money lol
Also cheers Skelator! i will try and get in contact. :)

Wanted to share my fixie-baby. Let me know what you think!
This is my first go at frame building, why buy a frame eh! all you need is a MAP can and a box steel jig :)
Its nice and simple, the style I like, and there are a few faults you probly cants see. But the joints are all penetrated and the alignment is accurate. The parts are all the cheapest i could get, with a couple of nice finds like the sexy curved GB bars. Just started uni so probly wont be another for awhile, looking forward to developing a signature/style.
in York if there are any riders out there! not met any so far!long post, not a big forum type... lets see if i can upload pictures.

Colin Lewis Cycles in Paignton Devon is good.
No fixie stuff as Devon is not the place for that but a beautiful range of bikes from full carbon to top range steel lugged bikes. Frames etc. If your down and an enthusiast its the best place in Devon.
Their site sells some stuff but not really representative.
Hi Root, I sent you a PM.
Cheers
