Hi
I'm looking at building up something a bit odd so thought I'd pop my head in here.
I was commuting on a Btwin road bike which was quick but not great at weekends and shopping so I bought a paddywagon 3speed hybrid which is far slower than I thought.
What I'm wanting to build is a modern Mixte with drop bars and preferably hub gears. Fairly lightweight build but nothing too flash 10.5kg plus or minus a bit is fine.
Does such a frame exist in 54/56 I can only find a Soma brand frame but that's way over budget.
Thanks I'll pop in tomorrow.

Evening,
I'm having trouble fitting the metro rack I bought. The blue bike photos are from the website, the green is my bike.
First the bolts that attach the legs to bottom of the fork legs are not long enough, plus I think I would need washers to make it fit without a gap. Is this normal?
Second on the videos I've seen online the attachment that attaches to the U brake normally moves to aid the fitting. The metro bikes one is welded on preventing adjustment, I think I would need to flex it to get a horizontal fit. Is this normal? It also would be touching the headset unless I shimed it with washers.
I'm okay with tools etc but much prefer riding so any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks

Thanks kimchi, that rack looks like what I'm after. I don't think I'd need panniers but I'll have a think, really I'd just be using it for grocery shopping and taking my work bag.
Are p clips better than jubilee clips? Currently the mudguard is attached to the fork http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sks-raceblade-pro/?lang=en&curr=GBP&dest=1&sku=5360762139&kpid=5360762139&utm_source=google&utm_term&utm_campaign=UK_PLA_Components&utm_medium=base&utm_content=mkwid%7CsnR312i0d_dt%7Cpcrid%7C67090789262%7Cpkw%7C%7Cpmt%7C%7Cprd%7C5360762139uk

Hi, I've recently bought one of these kona paddywagon 3 http://www.konaworld.com/paddy_wagon_3.cfm bikes for commuting and going to the shops. I'd like to fit a front rack to it, I like that specialized pizza rack but it wont fit as there are no mid fork mounts.
It could be attached to the mudguard mount or the axle, I have a front u brake and a SKS race blade fitted.
What rack would fit my bike? I've seen those pelago racks are popular but I don't want to remove my front brake.
Thanks

Hi thought you guys might be able to help.
So I have a cotic simple frame and a Hope pro 2 hub. To fit 2 x MKS chaintugs it would splay the frame if I where to fit them inside the dropout as per MKS instructions. If I fit them on the outside of the dropout they will only pull on the quick release axle.
What should I do? I need them on both sides as I have a disc brake to deal with. On a plus note velosolo are very good to deal with.

Thanks, had not seen that. The charge bikes look modern enough.
