Any small people looking for pretty snazzy steel track frame?
I bought the frame off ebay as a 21", but that's the seat tube, not CTC, so it's too small for me at 19.5" (49.5cm). The top tube is 53cm.
When I bought it, the seller had just had the frame resprayed and forks newly chromed for his son, who didn't want it, the ingrate!
There's marks on the dropouts where wheels have been put on, and one other blemish of note on the left seatstay, paintwork is otherwise more or less immaculate, a deep blue with metallic red contrasts and lined lugs.Built with Reynolds 531C tubeset, and decaled as a Bob Read of Doncaster, I don't think he's still going, so i'm not sure if he built it or just stuck his name on it. Either way it's very light and wonderfully detailed with semi wrap-around seat stays, and cut-out lugs.
English threaded BB, i'm not including the BB or headset in the sale unless it's a dealbreaker.
Forks are drilled for breaks, seatstay bridge is not.I'd like to get what I paid for it, which is £265 inc p&p, ONO
If this was a little bigger, there's no way I'd get rid as she's a real beaut.
The frame is located in manchester, although I might be london-bound at some point next month.
