I am looking for a road bike for my very small girlfriend frame <50cm that would be suitable for SS conversion.

Any recommendations? Off the peg would be OK and it doesn't have to be a women's frame.

I've got this idea that respraying old frames and removal of decals and transfers can devalue a bike right? What you reckon to this old Carlton, Reynolds 531 tubes. Think it would look lovely in black and white!

can you not just get the forks that you have fitted chrome plated?
