Tiswas, this might be a bit of overkill for what you need, but here's a pretty up-to-date comparison chart for mobile CPUs listed by manufacturer. http://bit.ly/9IHpw1
the intel mobile CPU chart is here: http://bit.ly/wZYmta
If you poke around the site, there are desktop CPU charts as well. One of the newer low voltage CPUs might be the right fit.

sorry about the late response, folks. there are a few people who asked to see the bike this week.
tedward, if i still have the bike on friday then i'll post if your friend covers cost. Or, if within 100 miles of London and next to a train station, I could ride it to him/her for no charge. PM me contact details in the meantime if your friend is still interested.

realize there's precious little chance of recovering these, but just to air some grief:
Had a Thomson seatpost, Specialized Romin Expert (155), and Knog rear light stolen from me outside the Jolly Butcher's Pub in Stoke Newington today. If anyone sees someone selling this combo or more than one of the above please let me know.
Was my first ride on the saddle and seatpost today. pretty bummed.

Looking for a bike friendly flat share somewhere in central London. Budget is about 700/mo maximum with bills included. Looking to be in Zone 1 somewhere, and want to move pretty soon, as I'm currently crashing on a friend's couch. Text or call and we can talk a bit. Thanks.

I had quite a spill in 2009 which I'm still recovering from. At the time I was commuting every single day and going on two group rides a week. I think the group rides really help with confidence getting back on the road. Luckily my commute wasn't too long so it didn't take too long to get back on my commute, but I was definitely more wary after that. I find that aggressive riding (riding faster than traffic, being decisive, etc) helps confidence as well - though I was already quite an aggressive rider to begin with (having had some grim encounters with drivers in the past; people bumping me from behind on an empty street, not respecting right of way, throwing things at me).
I wasn't able to ride for about a month after my accident, but I started out doing a group ride or two a week and that definitely played a pivotal role in getting my confidence back. And there's always the fun of getting to know new people.

new to london and almost-new to track cycling (have been on a concrete velodrome twice).
I know the weather reports are pretty unreliable. If the novice session gets rained out, how will I know? I'm quite far out and it will be my first time venturing around that area, so I'd have to start making my way well before 11:30. Are there any announcements posted on the website? How much tolerance is there for rain? (If it rains until 11:30 and the sun starts peeking through, will the session run? What if it's only a light rain? etc.) .. Will people point and laugh if I wear lycra on the tube? haha.
Any info is much appreciated. thank you in advance!
Hugo, appreciate the feedback. This was probably too rushed and not well thought out. Got too many other things on my plate. it's too bad I can't seem to alter the thread title.
