Are those early-90s Time pedals?

It might get a Ti stem at some point to match the Ti seatpost. The pedals are Time RXS Racer, picked mainly for the colour although the use the same cleats as the Time Impacts on my other road bike which is handy.

You need to go through the scheme used by your trust, mine uses Cyclescheme. Also, because of the way the NHS works you still have to pay VAT on the bike.

you may need to sudo. ubunto probably doesn't let mere mortals use chmod.

You'll only need to use sudo if you as a user don't already have write permissions to the file. If, as it sounds in this case ,you've downloaded the file yourself, then you should have the required permissions.

Sounds familiar. My Vigorelli arrived at the LBS last week with the wrong forks. The correct forks arrived yesterday, they started to build it today only to find that the drive-side BB threads haven't been cut straight.

The whole lot is going back tomorrow and we'll wait to see what they want to do about it.
