I believe that Nivacrom refers to both the model of Columbus fluted tubing and the material itself as there's a bit of a write up on the properties online:
"This is the most famous of Columbus' patented steels, specifically designed to make tubes for bicycle frames. It has the advantage over other steels of combining extremely high mechanical characteristics with great tenacity in the welding area. Alloy elements, vanadium and niobium, precipitate in the metal matrix blocking any grain growth and the resulting decline in mechanical characteristics, even at temperatures exceeding 1000C. It should be noted that, following the introduction of Nivacrom, the automobile industry began to use similar steels for producing bearing and reinforcement structures. Nivacrom though has been developed for top of the range competitive bicycle frame use."
Of course correct me if I'm wrong!

Hi Jeffrey, the seatpost is 56cm (centre to top). I don't have the top tube length to hand but I'll measure it straight after work for you tonight.
As long as the payment is done through Paypal so both parties have some form of buyer/seller protection then I'm happy to go forward with a sale to Taiwan. I have no idea of the cost of shipping or of a reliable courier service who would see that the bike gets to you unscathed - again I will look into this for you (I can't accept any responsibility for damages sustained while in transportation).
Alternatively, I'm also happy for you to arrange your own courier to collect and ship the bike to you if that offers more peace of mind.
Thanks for getting in touch!

1993 Carrera Columbus Nivacrom steel road bike (56cm frame).
Campagnolo 8 speed Chorus groupset, Athena Brakes and H+Son Deep V rims. Cinelli Forks, dropouts and frame details. The chrome is in great condition and still gleams (especially after a polish). Unfortunately the paint is a little knocked and scratched from storage however there is no damage to the steel underneath.
Selling as I haven't got enough space to keep it. I don't think I'll ever find another one of these bikes again - it really is an absolute stunner. Asking for £600 ono.
I'm happy for the buyer to arrange their own courier or to collect from Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

I had a nasty spill on my DH bike a while ago, since then Ive used my park bike as a little commuter.
Ive recently come to the decision that its completely wasted on me as Im getting into road riding more anyway. I have a road bike but would love a fixed gear. Knowing me, im probably going to want something quite sturdy, like a trick build, but im open to anything that takes my fancy.
This bike has been well looked after and serviced. Some of the usual rust on the rear dropouts and to a few small scratches which are barely noticable on the frame, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall this bike is in brilliant condition. Bearings are all smooth and greased, wheels are true and there are no nasty rusty bolts or rattles and squeaks.
