Agree - I've tried the one served up at Crossfire Cooking in Wimborne and it was amazing, easily as good as brisket. I cooked at Meatopia with Evan LeRoy this year, he's a great guy and I love his whole approach of cooking up as much of the cow as possible. It was great to see them get a Michelin star last week.

Got a bit carried away at the Tom Hixson shop in Sydenham and ended up cooking quite a bit on Friday on my Masterbuilt. Rack of lamb, pork ribs, pork collar and beef ribs and chicken wings from Sainsburys.
Ribs got burnt and the pork was overdone but still the photo looks good.

I would advise some caution with this. I bought a fridge freezer off FB used, was delivered in a car by a guy who I think trades shit fridges for a living. The fridge he delivered didn't work at all - he was quick to refund the money but that still left me with a fridge to dispose of.

This gate in my garden has seen better days and I'm thinking I'm going to try and spruce it up on Friday, but I'm mostly clueless.
My current plan is - sand it, repaint it (something like this?, do my best to clean up the hardware - maybe also paint that?

Does anyone have any tips? Am I better off trying to sort it in-situ or take it down?

My daughter rode this from age 6-8 but now outgrown it. Usual bumps and scrapes you'd expect from a kids bike but mechanically sound and rides well. Comes with SKS junior mudguards. Cat not included.

I have done it a bunch of times to fit and then remove a sealed unit with hole for a cat-flap. Super easy.

An emergency stop this morning locked up my front brake, the shop I took it into were baffled by it, seemed to think the brake conversion was bad but I'm not sure I agree as it's been fine since it was done over a year ago.

I do remember the guys that did it saying it was a bit of a PITA at the time, and I've read that the V3 Mundo forks are not the most reliable so I'm wondering if something has unexpectedly bent, or if just getting new forks with a more modern brake mount would make it easier to align. I've seen some people have used Surly Troll forks, someone else recommended a tandem fork (maybe one of these?).

Hey, yeah I did - it's been great! I haven't used it as much as I'd like to for various reasons but hoping to change that soonish. Stuck with the stock firmware for now, I've not had any issues. Mostly it's for carrying my daughter around and she's a bit speed averse so I'm not looking to make it go too fast. In the end I didn't have time to do the conversion myself but took it to Seabass in Peckham and they did a solid job.

My garage in Peckham was broken into sometime in the last week and, along with a bunch of power tools, my bike was taken. It's mostly made up of parts I got off here; Vernon Barker frame, Velocity B43 wheels, ITM stem, trans-x riser bars, kinda distinctive I think.

I've just moved into a house that is wetter than expected. Can anyone recommend a roofer that serves SE London?

Also the ground level outside the house is higher than the DPC so we've got some very damp walls. The ground in question is public highway - a footpath where cars park so I'm not sure who I even need to speak to about digging it up. Long shot but has anyone here dealt with anything similar?

I've just ordered a Tongsheng motor for my Yuba. Good to know someone else is converting at the same time - watch out for messages from me when I get stuck.

It should be a direct replacement I think, and it's a 13A plug. Both old and new are from Ikea and seem to have the same measurements. Being delivered tomorrow so we'll see how it goes, although my wife has already contacted the builder who installed the kitchen so it might be out of my hands. I'm not sure I deserve to be trusted with a hob anymore!

Anyone have experience with replacing an induction hob? I managed to smash mine yesterday - replacement now ordered but I'm not sure if it's just a case of unplug the old and plug in the new or if I need to get someone in. If I do need to get someone in, who? Is it an electrician or a handyman job?
