Thanks!
OG evkin stem- for road riding it does the job well. For gravel- not so much; i notice the bar is slightly rotated down when i go over big holes/rocks. Anyway i would still use it on gravel as the rotated down was an isolated occurrence.
Stem bolts- i didnt even bother to change the bolt so its the rainbow bolts on there.

250 quids for JT GTF? Wow got mine around 160 quids but that was a year a go tho.
Yes not working in the wet is disappointing. Not sure if i didnt set it up correctly or lousy cable setting but it has happened twice on 100km wet rides.
Im going full hydro soon as i managed to score sram force hydro mech 2x to replace my sram force x JT GTF.

@blacklisted Do you know the diameter of your downtube? Is it 35mm or 38mm? If you're not sure, would you be so kind to measure it? It looks pretty proportionate with the OS 44mm HT.

Yup Max is a little bit overkill for you IMHO. And the reason Max is still popular is mainly due to nostalgia - images of racing in ParisRoubaix come to mind. I think steel have developed far beyond Max technology.
I'm also quite curious that if you see American framebuilders, they mostly will recommend you a mixture of Zona and Life, very rarely Spirit or multishaped HSS and I don't know why.
