Do you really need carbon? Carbon isn't totally necessary on the track. You will find its much more expensive than aluminium, with not a huge difference in weight! i just bought myself an aluminium orbea track bike to race on, and its lighter than my full carbon look road bike... lots more aluminium track bikes on the market..

it has 1 little mark on the top tube but barely noticable was like it from new, and 1 on the drive side dropout but it was touched up.

the frame cant be found new in the uk in a 55 any more but the last 59cm ones sell for £949.99

The only exception is if you're planning on going from the gun in a points race. Those are the only kind of people who ride disc wheels at Herne Hill track league.
