^^City rain jacket for the middle way win? I don't think there has been much chat about it, or much about the rain jacket on the thread. Anyone got one? Any good? How does it shape up in the usual breathable vs waterproof chat?
I have one and rate it highly. It is very breathable on a 10 miles commute through London and keeps you very dry. I fell off quite hard and landed on my shoulder recently and there is hardly a mark. It is worth getting in my opinion.

Does anyone no how to find who owns a piece of land? There is a small bit of land with a burnt out double garage that i'm interested in. I've asked the neighbours but to no avail. Has anyone had any experience with the land registry?
Yes, I used to be a Land Buyer for a developer. It is fairly simple process.
You will need to locate (either by coordinates or a postcode) the parcel of land and outline the area on a scaled map, use www.magic.gov.uk. Find the relevant LR office buy using their website and go in to ask for some deeds.
It is about £4/5 for the plan and maybe the same for the deeds. It will have all the owner's details and any covenants listed.
Be aware of uplift clauses such as "should the buyer build on the land and sell the property with X number of years the last owner is to be paid X % of the uplift in value".
Make sure full vehicular rights of access at all times on to the land from such and such street/road etc. Unless of course you can provide alternative access.
I also used to come across ransom strips where the seller would sell a parcel of land but would keep a metre wide slither between the land and the access point so should anyone want to develop on it they then have to pay them a massive sum to gain access across 1 metre.
LR HQ used to be on Lincoln Field's in Holborn although I am not sure if this is still the case.

Check out moon gem 3.0. For city use, the best. No mount either. Rubber strap a la knog, but without the shit quality of knog.
Argh, I disagree, my rear one just stopped working all together for no apparent reason and the bracket on the front one snapped, apart from those issues they were very bright and lasted ages between charges.

@ Cornelius: I was joking, like I say, I have worn them endlessly for 18 months. They have been great but just started to wear through around the edges of the reinforced gussett patch.
