I have for sale my Raleigh special build Ilkeston track bike, restored by Vernon Barker. I believe this was a training frame back in the day for Team GB or whatever they were called then although I cannot substantiate this. It is frame number SB5778 and also has stamped on the bottom bracket, although less deeply 14 and 54 (Gears perhaps)

The frame and forks are Reynolds 531 and measure; seat tube c-c 50cm top tube c-c 55cm. The fork crown has been drilled for a front brake, the rear undrilled.

It is currently built with the following:

Campagnolo Veloce headset
Cinelli XA stem 135mm, ITM bars 40cm
Ultegra front brake
TA Specialities crankset 170mm
Shimano 39T chainring, SRAM gold chain
Handbuilt Mavic cxp22 rims 32h laced with stainless DT spokes to large flange Formula hubs. Nearly new Maxxis Columbiere tyres.
The rear is flip flop free / fixed with 16T sprockets.

It's in lovely condition, just a few minor marks here and there.

FS mystery frameset, resprayed thickly in blue. 56cm c-c seat tube and top tube. Nice lugs - possibly a Carlton No idea what the tubing is apart from its steel. Has braze ons for mudguards and nowt else, horizontal dropouts. No rust some scratches / chips. £45 posted UK
