I agree. Even with the level of hatred for the system that is in place, I have a hard time understanding the celebration of a murder.
People should instead be a little more angry on a daily basis and do everything they can to ensure a single payer system gets put in place. Being active and voting is a start.

I have not found a good summary covering this: does it really take such a long period to identify abnormalities in the biological passport? Was he just so infrequently tested so it took such a long period to identify the abnormal values or the abnormal values were only divergent by such a small amount between each test? Even if his results are nullfied for the period, I think everyone can agree it is probably not optimal to have a person who is not clean competing for such a long period

Of course political change is required to force corporations to change their behavior as consumers have proven incapable of making “correct” choices on their own.
One could also encourage adoption of a new religion

So if the word is also a racial slur it can’t be used to refer to the invention by the dear Earl of Sandwich?
The etymology of the word Sambo when referring to a sandwich is younger than the more sinister definition and does not generally seemed to be used daily
Lived in Ireland for four years. Never bothered me when someone said “lets grab a sambo” even though I was aware of the word’s other definition.

No, two different dudes.
Ali Hassan al-Majid was Saddams defence minister and first cousin of Saddam - sentenced to death for war crimes, genocide and was named Chemical Ali for his use of chemical weapons against Kurds.
Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf also known as Baghdad Bob and Comical Ali was Minister of Information and was known for his tv interviews and appearances. No chemical attacks or charges of genocide involved.

Indeed - was just reading an knterview with Scott Vogel today (Terror coming to town soon) and one point he lifted was
“3) Gas prices rise and rise…
Terror survived our first few years of touring getting paid $150 to $200 dollars a night. It wasn't always easy or profitable, but we got by on that money. With the rise of gas prices, I'm not sure how some bands make it. Greenvans introduced those vegetable oil vans but they didn't really seem to stick. I often wonder if people that go to shows and bitch about the prices of tickets and t-shirts ever think about how expensive it is to be on the road as a band.“And this was a few years ago. Seems like I never went to a show that was over 15 for the longest time. But then again I jumped on stage next to Scott when he was singing for Slugfest and he was yelling at everyone to stagedive….
Plus alot of bands have a bit different ethic now (booking agents, managers, label shit, no money from streams) ….

Like mine. But I am a bit biased.
Been running Campagnolo on all bikes the last ten years (with one forray into an SRAM bike that I had a couple years).
It is finicky to setup, and the noise with the cassette (since resolved) really bothered me. It works well when setup. It is light. I like the thumbshifter. I like the brake feel - if a bit spongy on my setup. I like the cassette ranges. Next “gravel” bike will most likely get it as well. 750 is a pretty good deal. -

Seems unnecessary for Jumbo to not support GC Kuss when they are trouncing the competition. If it becomes an issue where Jumbos position is threatened then I would understand that whoever is strongest should go. So far we have two stages where Jumbo has not acted in support of the jersey. There is a fine line to cross before things can be understood as jingoism, especially when 9/11 and waving the amercan flag is concerned.
A quick googling and this seems to be the background story which for me makes these bikes more well-meaning if still quite shit
“Shortly after 9/11, five firemen from NYC went on a goodwill bike run from NYC to Los Angeles. Cannondale donated custom bikes for this trip. They were CAAD5 with upgraded parts and a very custom "stars and strips" paint job. In 2002 Cannondale decided to make a limited production run to sell them to the public.”
