Haven't been on here in a while, but I was just googling Kola's work and saw your new piece @edscoble it's amazing!!
Going to get my second thing from him tonight, the back of my arm has felt a bit empty since the first one.
I've also been looking at Matthew Henning's work A LOT (henbohenning on instagram). I thought his style of work would go along with Kola's really nicely, but with much finer lines.
Sadly I only found his stuff just after he had guessed at the circle and got a piece from Kola.
Going to run up to liverpool or manchester when I know what I want.

Also it was a lot of fun being able to get these straight from the camera via the wireless app.
These are both from raw using the built in raw converter on the camera, which you can use to push/pull your shots, as well as loads of other corrections, and then transfer the jpg over wifi.
My only stumbling block now, which I hadn't realised would be a problem at all is that adobe lightroom 4 doesn't support X100T raw files, without mucking about with them first, which is a real shame.
It would be great if anyone knows of an update/ workaround that fixes this without going to lightroom 5 or using a third party bit of software first

I bit the bullet and got the X100T!
I need to learn how to properly use the fill flash and ND filter, because well-it-is's shot looks LOVELY, amazing that its an inbuilt flash. It seems to perform very well with exposure compensation as well, I was worried about underexposing a few shots, but it seems to not have too much trouble with noise when you shoot at a lower ISO/ higher shutter and push it. The dynamic range is also really nice, although my flatmate doesn't look too impressed...
and the macro is nice too
I now just need to find time to get out and shoot more!

I was hoping to get something done by Horikola (now going my Kolahari on instagram) soon.
I've had some cash come through and had it ear marked for my second tattoo. I just wasn't sure what to ask for her/him by at The Circle.
I was thinking something along the lines of the Dürer Hare on the inside of my left arm.
Any suggestions for getting it booked? I wasn't sure if there was going to be a long waiting list.

Hello
My lady friend gets a discount on one thing a year from a big corporate eye care wotsit but really doesn't need any more sunglasses and really doesn't like the company, so she's asked me to offer them to you lovely people as we would much rather make a forum donation than pay eBay/ PayPal fees and have cash money instead of stuff
They are a pair of Chanel CH5260 with grey/black polarised lenses, currently retailing for £350 and look just like this....
Hoping to get £300 for them but open to offers.

Can anyone offer any advice on softproofing in lightroom and getting things printed?
I picked up a 20"x30" print of the lady with the flowers portrait from metro today and I'm pretty pleased to see my shot printed up big, but the colours are just a little off from what I was hoping, but I didn't do a full colour management workflow getting the file out of lightroom, I pretty much gave them the same file that I posted on here.

My favourite lens is my nikon 35mm 1.8g, it's perfect for all my camera bodies as they all have a cropped sensor AND it's super cheap for the quality of lens that it is.
You can get one for about £120 brand new I think, vs double that for the 1.4
It's also rear focusing so once it's on the camera its pretty much sealed from dust and dirt, so it was great when I was travelling around and didn't want to faff with multiple lens and adverse conditions
