Hi Hippy
Because its a genuine Group I'm trying to create for classic Duell bikes and have already been chatting to some guys on Retrobike forum who thought it was a good idea. So hence putting a post on here. In answer to your comment regarding selling bikes, these are predominantly to the trade so def not trying to sell on a forum.. just not geared to that I'm afraid. I have posted previously to answers questions that members have posted. If you wish to ban me there really is nothing I can do about that, even though I can be sometimes of help to members etc
Best regards

Hi guys and gals
If there are any Duell bike (or frames made by Jan van Dalen) riders out there who would like to post their bike pics on a Flickr Group that I've just created for Duell bikes it would be most appreciated. Looking through various forums I found quite a lot of Duell enthusiasts out there, so why not create a central ''bank'' for pics and info. Also as I'm currently revitalising the brand here in the UK seems a shame not to include the many classic models that were previously built. So, here's hoping for some success.

I'm not a Facebook fan, but a thread like this couldn't hurt - http://www.lfgss.com/thread2960.html
Just putting the final touches to my own first classic/modern mix Duell build - the test rides so far have been great!
Can't start a thread yet as I'm stll in the nursery . Send me a picture of your Duell build when completed .. really would appreciate it.

Beautiful frame !! Just spotted this thread and thought I'd let you guys know that we (Bikesales4u) have just started sales and distribution of Duell frames here in the UK. Still all handmade by Jan Van Dalen and John Van Herwenden with that famous signature under the BB. We have road frames at present but I've asked them to produce a SS frame which should be available shortly. If there are any Duell frame owners out there, thought might be a good idea to start a Duell owners club/facebook page or other ideas of showing off these classic frames. Anyone interested please let me know.

Hi Oliver
Here are a couple more that you might like to add. http://cycleandstyle.com/http://www.bonniebikes.com/ -
Hi Freddie22
If you are looking to buy min of maybe x50 per item/size/colour then there are savings to be made. I have contacts out there but your min order would need to be 5K USD. Try some of the UK wholesalers or importers, they might do you a trade price if your buying in quantity. If you PM me a list of items I could ask around. -

Hi there
Just been reading this thread and felt it appropriate to add a reply- I agree with the comments regarding Pashley -old , boring and heavy. We have just introduced Bella Ciao. an Italian handmade range of classic city bikes designed for modern day use. Ladies options include handmade classic step through bike in SS, and Shimano Nexus 3 speed. Also handbuilt columbus tubed city step through and cross bar versions with SS, 2,3 and 8 speed options. Couple of pics here - if this works !! If anyone wants more info just let me know.Peter
