In VGC, the rims still have the machined finish on them although there are odd marks to the surface. Very clean and tidy. True and round.

I've just picked up a second hand Pompino and I'm fitting cantilever brakes. I don't really have enough steerer to fit a steerer mounted brake hanger.

Can anyone recommend a fork mounted hanger. I know Tektro do a good one with an adjuster but can't seem to find one in the UK.

Just picked up a cheap frame which came with a SRAM Courier chainset. The SRAM GXP chainsets come with a self extracting bolt which is in two pieces. I am missing the 16mm bolt which means I can't get the crank off.

Does anyone have a complete GXP crank bolt knocking about??

Can anyone recommend some commuting wheels for me? I want fixed/free hub, braking surfaces and £150ish for the pair. Not bothered by weight, would prefer a more sturdy wheelset. So far I've looked at Halo and Plant-X. Planet X have a few pairs of track wheels but I'm not sure how the hubs and rims would get on after a winter of commuting abuse. Halo wheels look nice but struggling to work out which ones would be better out of AeroRage, AeroWarrior, AeroTrack. Does anyone use these wheels? Are the hubs well sealed? Do the rims have braking surfaces?

Sealed cartridge bearings. One says 51.8x8x45 the other 51.5x40x7. They both have a 45 degree angle.
