For sale Berghaus womens specific rucksack, 25+5 Litres, freeflow model that keeps your back cool. Great weekend away rucksack, works well for cycling too as it's not too high. It's been lightly used, but it's still in great condition.

Bike polo is not a 'good cause'.
If anyone is feeling charitable, please donate the proceeds to the future of lives in danger, not this stupid sport.
And I'd like to add that I think it's great that we have enterprising people within polo that are finding a way to support themselves from the game they love. Well done and good luck.
Couldn't agree more!

I had a near miss yesterday morning, a white van didn't see me and nearly squashed me, because he was on his mobile. When I confronted him, he gave me the finger and the usual bad language. I got my phone out and snapped him using his phone & the number plate. Noticed when I got to work that the van had a company logo. So I emailed the them with the photos attached - not really expecting anything. But to my surprise, the director got back to me within 30 min with a short message that he was out of the office, but took this very seriously and would get back to me. Today I got a longer reply from the Operations Manager.
Dear ....
I can confirm that your email has been passed over to our Director .... .... , who agrees that your complaint is of a very serious nature, and will be dealt with in the appropriate manner. ..... wishes to apologise profoundly on our engineers behalf and assure that the engineer in question will receive disciplinary action.RDF would not want any of their employees to endanger any pedestrian or cyclist, engineers are not permitted to use mobile phone whilst driving, and all vehicles are fitted with blue tooth, as standard. Any bad language and hand signs will not be tolerated and hope that this experience has not left you with any lasting effects for your future cycling
Many thanks for your understanding and wish you safe cycling.

Quite often see a girl on an awesome colnago decor/master road bike, though some days on fixed, going same way from queensbridge road, down old street to holborn area. Always properly gunning. Somebody on here?
That'd be me - hi! You got to be quick to shake off all the 'scary airy fairy' cyclists that are on that route :-)

Wow never noticed those signs I shoot through that bit all the time. You mean the bus lane that leads onto New Oxford st right?
Yes, that's the place. There is a sign saying busses only and a round sign with a bus on, red edges, white back ground. Below it, a round sign, red edges, white back ground with a bicycle on it. To me, it looks like it would mean: buses and bicycles only - but it means no cycling - why not put a line through it then like some other European countries

Eventful ride in this morning: a Dolan road bike in the middle of the road - junction of Shoreditch High Street/Hackney Road - rider was f-ing and blinding at someone who'd gone in the direction of Kingsland Rd, not sure what had happened, he looked ok but very angry. Then a guy got handcuffed by the police for going straight through at the end of Theobalds Road where only buses are supposed to go with those silly bike signs that mean 'no cyling' but look like it means only buses and bicycles. Don't they have bigger and worse crooks to catch and handcuff - like the van driver who tried to take me and several other cyclists out at the traffic lights at Holborn. And the wind was a bit**!

- 5 on Jimbo Jones and totally agree with Sparky.
It's not a perfect campaign, but would you rather wait until the perfect campaign appears (which is likely to be never, as there will always be people disagreeing with something in any campaign made) or to have this and hope that something may come out of it. . For me, I think this is a great step forward!
As for cycle lanes being dangerous, I hear what you're saying - but this is down to the drivers making them dangerous for not being aware. Look at Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin, Stockholm etc where they have cycle lanes and motorised vehicles knows to look out for cyclists in cycle lanes. It's not the lanes that are dangerous - it's the drivers not looking (but I'm sure that's what you meant anyway).

Nelaii last Friday at Dalston junction - hopefully see you at pizza next week
Lovely lady on a very pretty Colnago complimenting me on my Christmas bike this morning in Farringdon. On here? You wouldn't think it but the wind resistance from that tinsel is a bitch! The things I do to be festive.Oh Hi! That was me :-) Wind resistance or not - it looks great, makes a nice sound too! I was actually thinking as I put my xmas decorations up that I should wrap tinsel around my toptube - think I might do that tonight! Tis the season to be jolly after all!

I know this is a long shot...but thought it's worth a shot. I had my Brooks Swift stolen last night when I was at our local pub on Forest Rd E8. I got complacent and didn't lock the saddle up as the chain didn't reach and I thought it would be ok. It was a black Brooks Swift, which was actually my boyfriends and I had just worn it in to be super comfortable as well. It has scratches at the front and the back from turning the bike upside down for punctures etc. and it had a bright pink Hells Belles dangler attached to it as well. Off to Brick Lane to try my luck later....

Selling my beloved Ruby here. She has served me very well over the past 3 years, but I'm going travelling and she has to go. She's super light, small and very fast! (put my husband in charge of the sales as he's on this forum far more than me). Want her to go to a nice home!
