A couple of items sold and a couple of price drops.

I appreciate why the above comments have been made. Some seemed a little harsh, but I can understand the frustration and even the mildly sadistic text I received from scando, gloating at me being publicly berated. I realise that I messed up with this sale and it's not something that will happen again (obviously I don’t expect anyone to take my word for it).

I also acknowledge that my problems are my own and for that reason I didn't impart them on the buyer - not an excuse, I’m just saying.

In the broader context of things, I handled the sale of the bike badly, which left a potential buyer pissed off and I sent my apologies for this. I’m not sure what else I can do.

I can appreciate that this sounds dodgy.

I had a few people interested in buying the bike over the last few days. scando was the first to get in touch and we agreed on a price, although as far as I was concerned, this was based on him viewing the bike i.e. provisional. When I received an offer (within an hour) for the full asking price, I gave scando a chance to match that as he had first dibs on the bike. He refused so I went with the higher offer. It's nothing personal, I just really need the money at the moment.

I've sold and bought on here over the last two years and have never had any problems. As I mentioned to scando, I am happy to settle any dispute through LFGSS.

1. Selle Italia Flight saddle - £SOLD - a popular classic saddle - this is scuffed and the leather is up at the back but it can be glued down.

2. Vittoria Pro Team Open Corsa CX 700 x 19c tyres including tubes - £SOLD - These are old tyres but still have good tread and the tubes have never been punctured. Great for a classic build.

3. Campagnolo clipless road pedals - £18 - These are great pedals but could current do with a clean - scuffed but still have plenty of life in them.
