Sounds very much like a problem I had, I kept pushing through until the knee became very inflamed at the front and medial sides. My weekness took six weeks to leave and I'm still taking it easy another 6 weeks on.

Safer Neighbourhood Teams (or Neighbourhood Policing Teams as we call them up here) have their priorities chosen by the public. We have a problem within our area because, although two thirds of our area is made up of social housing with all the problems associated with it, our "public" are made up of the 1/3 of fuddy duddies from the posh part. So instead of focusing on the needs of the community we end up having to focus on the perceived problems suffered by them.
To give you an idea. ASB caused by local youths. When does this ASB happen. Monday - Friday between 3 and 4....Oh yeah, your not happy that 1500 kids are going to school where you live...So rather than knock it.....if you have cause for concern get in there and make your voice heard... It might just mean that my colleagues in SNT's can get out arrest some real criminals.

Fairly simple here. Yes assault is worse than running a red light, however if the OP had not run the red light in the first place then he would not have been assaulted!
The other point to note, is that you have to be hazard aware. Any person within 20 feet of a crossing is a potential accident waiting to happen. Especially if they are either very young or very old. -

After reading through this site I really regret getting rid of my old frames. Had a custom built Arthur Caygill and Aende frames, and a lovely Concorde frame...all would have been convertible too fixed...Bugger

Peterborough city centre yesterday I saw a bloke dressed up to the nines. Rapha Condor Long sleeve top, Leather courier bag, 3/4 length Cargo pants, flip flops and a Geared BMC bike.....Noooooo. Didn't get the chance to ask him for his excuse!
