Is there a current consensus about the best bang for your back on a light that can deal with illuminating pitch black roads or bikepacking at night?
I need something that goes slightly beyond just being seen, but nothing quite as mega as the top end of the Exposure range, as I would just double up with a headtorch if this was going to be the case.

ISO Reccomendations for a 700c wheelset for my gravel bike. I want something that I can stick on for road rides, particularly in winter, but that can also withstand light bikepacking.
Doesn't need to be completely jank proof as I'd be using my 650b wheels if it's anything really rough.
Priority is light enough to be relatively enjoyable for road sections, but without losing all strength.
700c, thru axle, 11spd, disc.
Throughts on Dt Swiss RR481 or G1800 rims? Any off the peg wheelsets worth considering?

Just got back from a gravel trip to find a section of my carbon rim that is cracked. The area around the size of a thumbnail feels spongey to the touch. They are Prim Kanza rims.
It's not currently affecting the wheel's performance and I've probably ridden over 100k since it happened without knowing it.
Is it a write off? Is it something that would normally be covered by warranty (the wheels came secondhand with the bike). I'm currently in BC and would ideally patch it up somehow and carry on, but feel like that could be a very bad idea given how remote some of the riding is.

I'm looking for a set of wheels that would be suitable for riding with a loaded bikepacking setup on a variety of terrain including gravel, but ideally still suitable for road riding without being like a tank. 700c dynamo with thru axle and disc.
My plan is to have a set of light 650b on my gravel bike for fun day missions and then a 700c pair for tours and road rides. The 650b would have big nobbly tyres and the 700c something more road+.
Potentially Halo Vapour or Hunt Superdura?
Any reccomendations? Or better yet anything for sale?

Good to know! I'm partly just slightly embarrassed by how bling the bike looks, lol. I'm considering getting some slightly more rough and ready 700c wheels with a dynamo for touring and then putting some nice big grippy tyres on the 650b wheels for offroad duty. What are you planning your two sets of tyres to be?
I've pulled the trigger. Good heads up on extra batteries
