For sale is my AC Aero420 3 1530g clincher wheelset, campagnolo freehub (can be switched to Shimano)

They are about a year old, mint condition, dry use, less than 200mls.

I'm only changing for aesthetic reasons, I want something that doesn't take the eye away from the frame so much.

If I was sure it wasn't a crack I'd snap your hand off. Or if I knew it was repairable. All the Carbitubo info I can find is on twin downtube models. I've even fired off some questions to Washing Machine Post...

Doesnt look like a crack UNLESS its been painted over to disguise it.

Thanks guys. Haven't used a coaster brake before, but sounds like I dont want to, probably better going fixed.

Why is the Gios so different to my Master Olympic in terms of characteristics? I assumed it would be very similar. Obviously I have not ridden a Gios.

Have my eye on one of these lovely bikes. However £750. Is that too much? Near mint, £500 less than a new Master x.

My normal bike is a Colnago Master Olympic from '92. I've been looking for a track Torino but they are hard to find and quite fakable.

I like vintage bikes with modern but classic gruppo's but I wanted to built a nice clean fixed/SS maybe with a rear coaster brake to make it really clean?

If it's to be a Gios them I may have to offend all those classicists out there and convert a road frame, not for want of looking.

Any, objective views?

For sizing reference I'm 5'10"' tall, 31.5" inside leg, post is layback but 1.5cm forward of central.

Regrettably due to a change in job and location I am selling my dream carbon bike so here is the spec

frame : 55cm Carbon Leggero (Rapha Condor Sharp team issue, complete with all 2010 sponsors logo's)
Groupset: SRAM Red (172.5mm cranks)
wheels: Shimano Dura Ace 7850CL-Conti GP4000s
seat Post: Deda Super Zero white carbon
Bars/Stem: 3T PRX-PRO 110mm/3T black/white
Saddle: San Marco Regal-E Carbon FX - carbon rail- white
Pedals: Time I-Clic racer-white

It was ordered in Nov 2009, after the Earls Court show but was not available even in April 2010, Condor then offered me, as a good customer, a team issue frame in my size as they had been completed.

It was built by Condor and I have used it over the summer, it is fantastic and has been flawless, it comes in at just over 6kg. it also looks fantastic. It is in fantastic condition as you would expect, barely, if at all, discernible from new and having covered 550mls according to the odo.

Build cost was north of £4500 I am looking for £2750

2009 Condor Potenza 55cm frame in red with white fork, Sugino Messenger crankset, Miche wheelset (flip-flop), bull horn bars with front brake only, Brooks saddle. Also will include narrow riser bars and Dia Compe one finger brake, Very good condition £500. Pick up preferred but could post.

Thanks for that, but it's a different bike, it's the classic, as opposed to the Sovereign version, without the lights and accessories.

You'll note the Sovereign from the same company is £560, assuming they can deliver in that timescale.

When I tried to get one they were all on 12wk delivery in that size, few people had actual stock.

My wifes 2009 pashley Princess Sovereign in Regency Green is for sale.

All docs, bought this year, 4 1/2 yrs warranty left on the frame, but I think it'll last alot longer than that!

In lovely condition, couple of marks on the mudguard and the rack where she has towed the children with the rack mounted trailer bike but thats all, so overall excellent.

We bought it for the school run and noodling about on but the school run has changed (children now get a car share) and we seem to be mountain biking most of the spare time so its not getting the use a bike like this should. Rides nice, rolls well.

Fully specced, inc. front hub dynamo light, skirt guards, lock, basket, 5spd sturmey.

Looking for £450ono, pickup preferable, possible delivery depending on location.

No not beat up, I thought it was fair, pleased it was quick, painless and to a good home.

Got home last night in the snow on the Peregrine after 11 miles with my 35mm XR marathons and alfine and was happy it was the right thing to do.

Ex-owner here, slightly gutted at price I put it on for, grateful it has gone to a good home, it was lovingly specced and waited for, only practical circumstances resulting in the sale, extended commute and child towing duties!

Thanks Joe for coming up to grab it and I hope you enjoy it, it's been good to me. Lets hope the SIngular Peregrine, whilst not so elegant, still feels good to ride:)
