My issue with it though, is you cant see the message previews you if you want to screen messages you are right in at the deep end opening it which is annoying as I think its a great feature apart from that.

My only issue is that now it doesn’t show the message which is quite annoying and I turned it off

I totally get that, just cant really justify a grand plus on a monitor for personal project stuff.

I'm not fully bothered if it's a gaming monitor so if colour is better on the asus and BenQ id probs go there. Every monitor seems to be a games monitor these days looking.

Ill have a look at them, most places sell like gaming monitors which tbh i dont know if they are good or bad for what im mainly gonna do with it.

I know that proper colour grading or accurate colour monitors are about a grand but im not doing it for a job I just want something to colour my own stuff relatively accurate so on an iPhone when someone watches it, it looks crisp.

That's the only thing i haven't done yet is set a sim pin.

Didn't quite work like that and my dad's got an account. They basically said what do you want I said I have this, they designed it and at the end said the price was X or Y if I built it myself.

There really wasn't much of a debate, the days of trademans saving fortunes over the customer price is gone from experience.

Fitting it though its fine apart from the cockups Howdens have made and just like most other kitchens I work in that are 10's of thousands.

Seems a bit steep but usually plasters up here are £100/150 a wall
