so i was fixing a front wheel hub that had lost its bearings and noticed that the thread of the axle had worn down smooth in two points roughly where the cups sit. cleaned, greased, added bearings, tightened it all up and it runs ok but seems like it might still be a bit wobbly.
is the worn axle thread a problem that will keep making it come loose and was probs the cause in the first place??
cheers!

i've read all of sheldon brown but my maths is terrible. should i use my 50 or 36 tooth chainring for a single-speed conversion with a 16 tooth sprocket? i know around 42 is ideal but i cant afford a new chainring.
i'm not super fit so i'm drawn to the 36 but i also hate frustratingly low gear, obvs.
thoughts anyone?
hello hello. couldnt totes identify the correct thread for this question but...
does anyone know where i might be able to get hammered fenders for less than the 90 quid velo orange seem to be on ebay after postage??
