Hi everyone,
I had my bike stolen last night from the bike parking area outside of Highbury and Islington tube station.
It's a white unipack frame with dildo handlebars. The front forks are different to the rest of the bike. Here is a slightly older photo before I swapped over the handlebars - it's also had a load of stickers added to it since this photo, a new rear wheel and a quick release front wheel.
One pedal has metal straps while the other does not. It's a unique bike so it would be great if people could keep an eye out for it.
cheers,
Lee

@bainbridge No it's not. As a bit of background I'm doing a design project to encourage people to cycle. Thought that a new way of storing a bike could be one of (many) solutions. As part of this I thought it would be interesting to see how these bikes are stored - I did a survey of 170 cyclists and most kept the bike in the hall.
No worries if you don't want to post a pic, but pics would be good as it helps to show actual real life ways people store bikes.
@recon under the bed is a new one!
I'm keeping a blog of the project at http://leewashington.blogspot.com should you want to find out more

In my survey, 59% of cyclists keep their bikes in their house and I'm curious as to how they are kept! Many of the respondents keep the bike in their kitchen.
This is a call post a photo of your bike when not in use - are they hung on the wall? Or just kept in the hallway.
here's where my bike is kept when not in use.

Thanks again - i imagine I'll be back with more questions!

Hi,
I'm currently working on a design project to create a product to encourage more people to cycle in London.
If you cycle in London, it would be great if you could take a couple of minutes to fill out a survey:

Thanks!
