Someone previously suggested uberbike in this thread. I ordered some (shimano pads) but have yet to fit them so I can't comment on quality. Yours will be under here I guess?

Kind of but it's painful as the underground root system seems so much wider... I've eradicated bamboo from the garden but bindweed just keeps reappearing because it comes in from my neighbour. Like JWestland, I dug all the roots out of my garden but the side of my garden that borders my neighbour just keeps getting more. I just pull it out at ground level and it stays in check...

While glyphosate is probably the way to go if you want chemicals, I have had lots of success in removing bamboo by just allowing it to shoot up and then cut it back to the ground before the leaves unfurl. The plant needs photosynthesis to survive and will die off in a year or so as it runs out of energy... Minimal effort and no potentially harmful chemicals to have to deal with. Obviously if you want to keep some part of it then this won't work as the underground network of roots will provide food to any offshoots.
There was also a video about this method posted in this thread not too long ago... -

As expected, the ferries should be absolutely fine... We had no hassle taking a bullitt on board last year (Brittany Ferries).
I have no experience of trying to get a cargo bike on a train but trains and bikes in general are a pain in my experience of trying to take a touring bike on board. But there's always a way! For me it was using (slow) regional trains rather than high speed alternatives unless you're willing and able to dis-assemble and wrap/disguise the bike. I would guess that the smaller the cargo bike, the easier a time you will have but every train operation will have their own size limitations. Not sure how that helpful all that is but I guess the tldr is that the internet is correct, do it!

Worth posting in the kids/small frames thread? https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/334778/newest/

The nearest I can think of is Skull where people are trying to out bid people but that has nothing to do with (general) knowledge.

I've been enjoying Josh Reids videos of his time on TCR this year. He's currently posted as far as CP3...
