Get there then. Every Thursday from 6ish. Enter the boozer by parking your bike down the side and using the side door. Acknowledge other cyclists and proceed to bar. Purchase whatever you want and a pint of Guinness. Return to the table of cyclists and give me the Guinness.
Welcome!
Look for the man with Two pints of Guinness then.

What's all this then? I've only just stumbled over this thread and there were threats in the early posts of fellow Chiswick Pram-dodgers.
I Wouldn't mind popping out for a pint to meet some fellow Westy types...If I can negociate the million 4 year-olds on micro scooters that used to be in the prams at the start of this thread!

I picked up my new hack on Monday,a Fuji Feather 2012. Yesterday a mountain bike rider flew off the path and into me on the road.
"didn't see ya mate"
Anyway the frame and forks are bent so I need a something else.
I'm after a 'track' frame with track drops and a good Steel. I'm in West London.Cheers.

Hi,
I have my own built 531 beater & don't ask me why but I just love the look of the Pista & now the suns out I fell the need for 'shiny' things so sod it I want one. Searched Gumtree & flea bay. no joy.
I need 51-53cm Prefer the painted/chrome ones over the all chrome-look-polished ones, but I like them all.
Money waiting

That fixxer is $80. I'd rather eBay up a wheel!
I've got a welder and a soldering iron. I also don't mind a one way trip. If the hub can never be resored I don't care. I've read to weld up the bearings, I'll look this afternoon. I'd rather weld the paws into the engaged condition or 'fill' the hub with epoxy.

Hi,
Recent convert to single speeds. I've been putting mile after mile through the rear shimano freehub now & I'm wanting to move to fixed.
I've looked about, and read Sheldons take on it but I as an engineer refuse to see how the conversion Could be that hard & is worth more than my whole wheel.Somebody must have 'jammed' the paws open before now.
Anybody converted one of these hubs?
Cheers.

I'm really new to this...
I've been given this Pre 84 6 speed Raliegh Medale. It is a road racer but my Grandfather converted it to a tourer. Its ripe for a single speed commuter. No idea on allot of things on this build from forks to what i can do about running good wheels as the original steels are 27" x 1 3/4".
Any advise from Raleigh fans.
The Shaven....
Sounds a bit ominous.
